EXPERIENCE

Computer Graphics Systems Development Corp. (CGSD Corp.), President, 1990-Present

Founder and president of Computer Graphics Systems Development Corporation (CGSD Corp.), a consulting firm specialized in 3-D graphics, virtual reality, and simulation technology. CGSD also publishes Real Time Graphics, a professional newsletter for which he is editor and publisher.

Sun Microsystems, Engineering Manager, 1987-1989

He managed a staff of 16 professionals in the development of a 3-D graphics accelerator for engineering workstations.

Kaiser Electronics, Project Manager/Senior Technical Staff Specialist, 1986-1987

Managed the research and development of a digital map reading system.

Link Flight Simulation Division, Principal Investigator/Staff Scientist, 1978 - 1986

As staff to the Vice President - Technical Director, he was responsible for the coordination of visual simulation technology among four operations of the division. Led the successful major proposal effort for a system requiring the simulation of infrared sensor tracking and navigation pod imagery. As Principal Investigator, managed the independent research and development of a real-time graphics system for out-the-window flight simulator imagery, which was the world's highest performance real-time graphics system at the time.

Grumman Aerospace Corporation, Flight Test Engineer, 1970 - 1978

Performed research and development of high precision electronic navigation systems, including a system used for the flight testing of F-14's that remained in use into the 1990's.
