Ueno Park, Tokyo, 1980
This park is located in the northwest part of Tokyo,
near a major train station. These photos were taken one afternoon in early
autumn. At the time, the park was not kept up particularly well, but still
it kept an aura of being a quiet refuge from the city. There are museums
and playgrounds in the park, but the ponds most attracted my attention.
