These photographics were taken in Monterey, California using a Noblex panoramic camera. The negatives are approximately 2 x 5 inches and were scanned onto a Kodak PhotoCD[tm]. The images proved quite contrasty and had a purplish tinge. Adjustment to color and contrast were made using Adobe Photoshop[tm].
Panoramic photos are best viewed large, but that can be a test of patience on the net. The "large versions" here are 100kb JPEG files that will be about seven inches wide when downloaded. The "larger versions" are about 250 to 380 kb JPEG files that will be about 14 inches wide when downloaded, which means the image will just about fit across a 20 inch monitor. The cross is near a public beach reached from the Seaside exit off Highway 1.
