A Photo Tour of Mountain View, California

Introduction

Mountain View is located in Northern California, about 40 miles south of San Francisco and about 15 miles north of San Jose. The population in the 1990 census was 67,460, and current population about 71,000. The census gives statistics about the housing and birthplaces of the residents.

Mountain View is home to CGSD Corporation. You may visit us some time, so it might be useful to have a short orientation on the community. Then again, you may never be in our neighborhood, in which case you can now know what you're missing.

I hope this short photo essay will encourage others of you to make similar pages for your towns. It would make cyberspace a better place if there were more of these.
